Mitzi Thompson joined our team in 2022 and she has over 16 years of experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She delivers excellent patient focused care for women of all age groups. She manages annual gynecology exams, mammograms, and hormones all while addressing acute issues such as vaginitis, UTIs as well. 

We offer a wide range of gynecology services including well woman visits, pap smears, mammogram management, contraception management (IUD, Nexplanon placement and management), hormone replacement therapy (creams, troches, and pellets), and sick visits for treatment of urinary tract infections, and vaginal infections. We offer STD testing and treatment as well. 

Are you a new patient at Premier Family Care Clinic  Family Practice? Please come with your insurance card and updated medication list. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time in order to complete any documents needed prior to appointment. If your appointment is in the morning please come to your appt fasting (nothing to eat past midnight the night before) so we can obtain labs if needed. 

We accept most insurances including but not limited to Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medicare, United Health Care, Aetna, Cigna, Tricare and etc. Please call ahead and verify we accept your insurance plan. If you have a healthcare.gov plan you have to change your primary care provider to our physician prior to the appointment in order for them to cover the visit. Your visit will not be covered if this is not done ahead of time and you will be responsible for the full visit fee if you do not change the assigned MD on your policy.
